SIYABONGA Gama has denied knowledge that former president Jacob Zuma played a role in his reinstatement as Transnet Group CEO.
On Thursday, 11 March, he told the Zondo Commission his reinstatement had nothing to do with political interference. He said he learnt about this when people gave evidence at the commission.
“It has been brought to my attention that the commission is also investigating whether the erstwhile president Zuma and or erstwhile minister Gigaba may have attempted to secure my reinstatement.”
