Joy for hospital residents thanks to Kennedy students

The first year JCSP class and the Transition Years of Kennedy College New Ross delivered joy by the giftbox loads to New Ross Community Hospital residents. Under the guidance of Ms Meyler and Ms Sutton in Kennedy College the students worked together on a community initiative where they provided Christmas gift parcels to the residents of the long stay care home. Each student wrote a letter and then prepared a gift hamper catering to each individual resident s interests. The packs included Christmas decorations which were produced by the students in the woodwork and art rooms, home baking, personal gifts, reading material and plenty of goodies.
