Transborders Energy Pty Ltd has announced that it has signed a multi-party and multi-project FLNG solution framework agreement with the following entities for co-pursuing the deployment of Transborders’ FLNG solution on a range of stranded offshore gas resource opportunities.
This FLNG Framework Agreement is a first-of-its-kind collaborative arrangement among world class EPCI and O&M contractors, investors and LNG offtakers to collectively commercialise a series of discovered but stranded offshore gas resource opportunities.
Entities involved in the framework agreement:
Add Lucid Pty Ltd (Add Energy Group).
Kyushu Electric Power Co., Inc. and Kyushu Electric Australia Pty Ltd (collectively Kyushu Electric Power).

MELBOURNE (Reuters) - An Australian company has lined up the country’s national science agency and Japanese firms to work on a plan to capture carbon dioxide, and liquefy and transport it to a site offshore Australia to be injected under the seabed.
The push comes as the Australian government recently named carbon capture and storage as one of five priority technologies it would fund in an A$18 billion (£9.9 billion) plan to help cut carbon emissions.
Perth-based Transborders Energy, leading the deepC Store project, said on Monday it wants to capture carbon emissions from liquefied natural gas (LNG) plants and other industrial plants in Australia and the Asia Pacific.

AUSTRALIAN energy company Transborders Energy has signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs)with researchers and oil and gas industry leaders to consider co-developing an Australian offshore carbon dioxide (CO
2) capture and storage hub, the deepC Store Project.
The project will involve capturing CO
2 from industry in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region and shipping liquid CO
2 from capture sites to a floating storage and injection (FSI) hub facility. A CO
2 injection well for storage in a subsurface storage complex will be located near the FSI hub.
The MoUs will enable industry and researchers to share information and knowledge related to scoping and seeking funding for a concept study to evaluate the technical, commercial, and economic aspects involved in delivering the project.
