designed to save lives. like the trans fat ban already in effect. but they said salt is not the problem, just the excess of it. maybe like government, you would be worse off without it, and not that happy if it didn t work. i m not sure if that makes sense. you get the point. a top chef not happy about the salt proposal. he says, anybody who wants to taste food with a no-salt taste, go to a hospital and taste that. peter, i m not sure how much salt conversations rate. i m sure they don t rate as well as sex conversations, i can tell you that. where do you draw the line for politicians and food? no, i don t see this makes any sense. maybe you could make an argument it s good to have more transparency. it s probably a good thing at mcdonald s they tell you how many there are 9,000 calories in a hamburger or something like that. so maybe, maybe you could have something in restaurants equivalent with that transparency, about what they use. but to ban it seems to be crazy.
