Proposition a, you know, we just want to make sure that you, the Board Members, particularly the new Board Members when they do come in, really step up to the plate, and have the agency conduct business for the residents of this city like theyre supposed to be. No ones paying attention to prop a, transit first. No one. So when we take that into context, this system should be really yeah. Mr. Elsbernd brung up prop g but did it affect anything . I dont know. We have to look at those numbers today because in two weeks theyre talking about Cutting Service to your constituents in the outer neighborhoods. Yet take care of the visitors thats coming to shop in union square but what about the individuals in the outer neighborhoods. Service is going to be affected deeply with these cuts. One 25 million. Yes can you describe why its more than the actual budget . Yeah, when we came back i think last time we were up here in front of the port commission, one of the other projects came into be on our contract. That was the americans cup infrastructure improves on some of the other pier and is that is 14. 7 million. So when we come back to talk about the increase for turner, we have to consider that its on top of that 14 million although its not for this project. So, there are contract gets increased because this amount is in there. Okay so the change for the cruise terminal about the proposed 82 million but when we approved the 82 million didnt we take this into consideration . No phase two was really just an estimate at the time and so no work and other than the phase two. So it was an estimate yeah and so other than the phase two it gets very complex and you have up with the project a very long time and the work and phase in phase one. Design work included the phase two d

So i just wanted to appreciate the staff that helped to support this committee, because there is a lot of moving parts. And so in the next coming months, we will be really focused on the changes particularly around prop 30, and some of the priorities that were going to have to make in the coming months. Thank you. Thank you commissioner mendoza. So this brings us to item t are we finished . Lets see i probably shouldnt try to skip this, but board delegates to membership organizations nsba, csba, cgcs and we are already heard that we had a great conference with the csba in San Francisco. It was a great conference and learned a lot. At the january 8th meeting were going to try to show the video shown at th

Just as a best practices note from all the research i have done, we found that veterans need each other once they are back from their tours of duties. They actually should retain a cohort, which they can find of hang out with and be together. That is what were attempting to create with this whole construction hiring process as a way for them to still, like there are so many jobs in the city that are coming down the pike, we want to make sure that they have a network to stay connected with each other. So on that note were working with San Francisco unified school district, as well as integrating veterans preorientation programs there. As well as the Sf State University Veterans Club to generate internship paths into construction employers like webcor, turner, dbs and other employers.
