“Women of Four Wars,” a new online presentation accessible on the Veterans History Project Web site, is a call to action for volunteer interviewers to record the stories of America’s female wartime veterans. “Thanks to volunteers nationwide, the Library of Congress has preserved the recollections of more than 55,000 veterans,” said Bob Patrick, director of the Veterans History Project. “Yet, fewer than 4,000 of those interviews are from women. We need more personal accounts from female veterans, and we need the American public to record them.”

To mitigate the impact of flooding caused by heavy rains and high river tides, HCM City has invested heavily in flood-prevention works, including drainage system improvement, dredging of canals, and wastewater treatment systems.
Garbage is discharged directly into HCM City’s Tàu Hủ–Bến Nghé–Đôi–Tẻ canal basin. The third phase of the Water Environment Improvement Project in the basin, starting in 2022, ispart of the city’s efforts to stem urban flooding.
Da Nang’s authorities are building a detailed plan for the city's first international duty-free zone and smart urban area for investors, with construction set to commence soon as the Import-Export Pan Pacific Group (IPPG) has asked the city to allocate land for the project.
