so what does it look like from your view, jennifer? we are seeing rain in some of the places since thursday. it looks like time has stood still over the last 24 to 36 hours. we are still seeing rain pull into north carolina. if you can believe it, 35 miles per hour winds with 45-mile-per-hour gusts. like victor said, that matters very little. what we are seeing are the bands of rain just coming in over the same spots over and over. and that is going to cause more flooding than we re already seeing. so just because you may be waking up in a lull, it is over, that may not be the case. we have a lot of moisture feeding off the coast that will bring in more rain for today, especially through the wilmington area. new bern could get more rain. and we re going to continue the flooding threat going to throughout the rest of today. and this is going to last well into the middle part of the week while we watch the rivers crest. so we could still get up to a
that of the wreckage, the missing plane. cnn s jennifer gray. jennifer, what kind much weather conditions are there as they continue to take to the high seas to do these underwater searches? it s not terrible. but now that they re dragging these things on the ocean surface, you need to have really calm conditions. you don t want a lot of wobble with those ships. definitely have waves out there, but not going to see those nasty high seas like we saw when the search area was farther to the south. we re watching a tropical cyclone. it s a weak one. it was packing winds at 40 to 50 miles per hour. it s sliding down to the south and east. waves right around the center about 16 feet. so that s pretty high. once you get into where the search area actually is, the seas definitely die down a bit. also watching that rain pull to the south, we ll have some cloud cover on top of the area over the next 24 hours or so before things start to clear out just a bit. but the good news, fred, is it look
train. the man on the right is the suspect. all sorts of different stories about why they were arguing. one witness said the suspect was deranged. the victim was trying to calm him down. according to the new york post which our parent company owns another witness told police the victim started things but it all began, no matter how, we now know how it ended. witnesses say the suspect hurled the 58-year-old father on to the tracks and as passengers watched a train started pulling into the station. people waved their hands to try to get the driver s attention. somebody was snapping a photo. but the subways here often come in quickly, slowing down only at the end and in this case the driver couldn t stop in time. i saw the train pull into the station about three quarters into the station. you know, you almost heard like a thud, wasn t sure if it had anything to do with the man being struck. that s when you heard people yelling, people running out. well, the train crushed the man i
this is surveillance from the subway station. it happened near times square. the victim a man from queens was trying to stop the suspect from harassing people that s when witnesses say he through the victim on to the track. saw the train pull into the station and you almost heard like a thud. wasn t sure if it had anything to do with the man being struck. that s when you heard people yelling. passengers tried to stop the approaching train but it was too late. this is the man they were looking for. he is in his 20s he has dread locks. if you know anything call police. george zimmerman, they are looking for a photo the night he was shot and killed. th it shows zimmerman. attorney representing mart tans family says the photo adds nothing new to the case.
