The Railways have cancelled the services of three pairs of special trains operating via Mangaluru Junction temporarily in view of reduced passenger patronage.
Press releases from Konkan Railway and Southern Railway said that Train Nos 09424/09423 Gandhidham-Tirunelveli-Gandhidham weekly festival special will remain cancelled with effect from Monday and from Thursday, respectively.
Train Nos 09322/09321 Indore Junction-Kochuveli-Indore Junction weekly special will remain cancelled with effect from Tuesday and from Friday, respectively. Train Nos 09262/09261 Porbandar-Kochuveli-Porbandar superfast weekly special will remain cancelled with effect from Thursday and from May 16, respectively, the releases said.

The Railways has cancelled two trains on the Konkan Railway network, including Yeshwantpur-Karwar-Yeshwantpur tri-weekly day special express, temporarily due to reduced passenger patronage in view of the surge in COVID-19 cases.
A release from KRCL here said that Train Nos 06211/06212 Yeshwantpur-Karwar-Yeshwantpur was partially cancelled between Mangaluru Junction and Karwar. The train would operate out of Mangaluru Junction to and from Yeshwantpur from Monday till further advice.
Similarly Train Nos 09260/09259 Bhavnagar-Kochuveli-Bhavnagar Special Weekly Express would be fully cancelled from Tuesday from Bhavnagar and from Thursday from Kochuveli.

The services of Train Nos 09424/09423 Gandhidham Junction-Tirunelveli Junction-Gandhidham Junction Weekly Superfast Festival Special being operated via Mangaluru have been extended with revised schedule and coach composition to clear extra rush of passengers from Monday.
Train No 09424 Gandhidham Jn.-Tirunelveli Jn. Weekly Festival Special (fully reserved) will leave Gandhidham Jn. at 4.40 a.m. every Monday [from February 1] till April 26. The train will reach Tirunelveli Jn. at 11.35 p.m. on the next day.
Train No 09423 Tirunelveli Jn.-Gandhidham Jn. Weekly Festival Special (fully reserved) will leave Tirunelveli Jn. at 7.40 a.m. every Thursday [from February 4] till April 29. The train will reach Gandhidham Jn. at 2.35 a.m. on the third day.
Train services restored as work at Hubballi yard is postponed

With the postponement of non interlocking work to facilitate remodelling of Hubballi Railway Station Yard, South Western Railway has restored train services that were scheduled to be cancelled either partially or fully.
Accordingly, the services of Train No 06581 Hubballi-Mysuru Express Special commencing journey on January 22 to January 29, which were notified for partial cancellation between Hubballi and Hosapete, have been restored.
The services of Train No 06582 Mysuru-Hubballi Express Special commencing journey on January 21 to January 28, which were notified for partial cancellation between Hosapete and Hubballi, have been restored.
