ALPENA “Trafficking Talks: Awareness In Our Community,” a free event with Rebecca McDonald of Women At Risk International, will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 12, at New Life Christian Fellowship, 317 S. Ripley Blvd., Alpena.
McDonald will present an eye-opening evening about the second largest and fastest growing branch of organized crime, human trafficking. Attendees will learn what it is, how to recognize it, and how you can be a force for change.
Adults and high school students are encouraged to attend and become informed. Due to the sensitive nature of the topic, youth younger than 14 are welcome to attend with their family, however parental discretion is advised. The evening is not appropriate for children.
