Vehicles will be prohibited from using the carriageway towards Mumbai on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway today for six hours due to construction work. A new Foot Over Bridge (FOB) costing Rs 10.6 crore has been commissioned at Kurla suburban station in Mumbai. Mumbai will receive 27 new air-conditioned (AC) local trains to meet the increasing demand during peak hours. The total number of AC services will now be 162 on both Central and Western Railways.
