The man wanted for trying to kill a San Diego Police officer Thursday, was arrested Saturday morning after a nine hour standoff. NBC 7 s Omari Fleming reports.
Police say the Chrysler sped away with the officer behind it. A few blocks later, the driver stopped in the middle of the roadway, then accelerated in reverse, sending the sedan crashing into the motorcycle, according to SDPD Lt. Andra Brown.
The officer was knocked over and Correa continued to push the motorcycle backward with the officer pinned under it, police said.
The driver, who had a female passenger riding with him, then allegedly fled north on Black Mountain Road.

Moises Correa, who is charged in San Diego Superior Court, faces 35 years to life in state prison if convicted because he has two prior strike convictions, including a 2011 attempted murder conviction out of Maricopa County, Arizona, according to the criminal complaint filed against him.
Correa, 29, is accused of wounding the officer, whose name was not released, just after 10 a.m. Thursday after the officer stopped a black Chrysler sedan that Correa was allegedly driving in the area of Black Mountain Road and Westview Parkway.

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, Calif. A man was booked into the Central Jail Saturday on suspicion of attempted murder of a police officer, who was injured during a traffic stop in a Mira Mesa neighborhood, police said.
Moises Correa, 29, was also charged with assault with force and resisting arrest, according to jail records.
A motorcycle officer with the San Diego Police Department suffered minor injuries when a driver ran him down with a car during a stop at Black Mountain Road and Westview Parkway at 10:09 a.m. Thursday, police said.

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A San Diego police officer was injured Thursday when a driver backed a vehicle into him while fleeing a traffic stop near a Mira Mesa intersection, police said.
The motorcycle officer pulled over a black Chrysler sedan for unknown reasons shortly before 10:10 a.m. near Westview Parkway and Black Mountain Road, and the driver backed up and hit him, San Diego Police Department Officer Tony Martinez said.
The driver knocked the officer over and continued to push the motorcycle backward with the officer pinned under it.
