ELKINS A Parsons woman is facing a felony charge after allegedly stealing items from the Elkins Walmart.
Heather Nicole Watson is being charged with a felony count of third offense shoplifting. Watson was arraigned by Magistrate Tracy M. Harper and bond was set at $1,500 cash only.
According to the criminal complaint filed in Randolph County Magistrate Court by Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Deputy A.B. Beverly, the officer responded to Walmart on March 29 in regard to a shoplifting incident. At the store the Walmart asset protection associate had a woman, later identified as Watson, in the office. The complaint states Randolph County 911 advised the officer that Watson had two prior shoplifting convictions.
