Ellsworth Police Log Week of June 3 Four charged with underage drinking ELLSWORTH Officers conducting an underage drinking detail on May 29 found a 17-year-old Bar Harbor girl and an 18-year-old man who had been drinking alcohol. The 17-year-old was released to a parent, after receiving a summons to appear in court for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. Garret Rodgers, 18, of Ellsworth was arrested and charged with furnishing liquor to a minor, providing a place for a minor to consume liquor and illegal possession of liquor by a minor. Two additional 17-year-olds were issued summonses for possession of liquor by a minor, and a fifth person was arrested on charges of driving after license suspension.

It broke apart about 23 miles above the Atlantic, generating the energy equivalent of 14 tons of TNT.
