Ever met. Reporter 56yearold bakery owner was raced to the hospital by police after the bullet passed through her wind pipe and into her neck near her spine. She underwent surgery. Theres no doubt this is a planned act. I mean shes been here for about 10 years running this business. Yeah, every day here in the business. We do business together almost regular basis. Reporter the shooting and robbery sent shock waves through the tight in it group of store owners and customers. Many said the victim is a hardworking woman. I know for 10 years. Very nice lady. Shes a wonderful lady. I bought cupcakes for her for my childrens birthday parties. She donated, you know, ive seen her feed Homeless People around here. Reporter police say she fought off two would be robbers just last friday. Failed last week. She fights them off last week. They go on their own she doesnt art it to police.
