Honor Flight Chicago recently celebrated its 100th Honor Flight on a special charter flight packed with 102 veterans from the Vietnam War, 11 from the Korean War and three from World War II.
Fermilab in Batavia has announced the first bison birth of the spring season, out of 20 calves expected to be born this season. The current herd comprises 32 bison 30 cows and two bulls, with the males changed out periodically to maintain the herd s health and genetic diversity.
