A Brisbane camper-trailer company that tried to sue the administrator of a Facebook group listing âlemonâ caravans and motorhomes has lost its last-ditch High Court appeal for $357,000 in damages.
The High Court rejected Bruder Expedition Pty Ltdâs application to appeal a Queensland Supreme Court decision that overturned the damages they were set to get from Western Australia disability pensioner Tracy Leigh, the administrator of Lemon Caravans & RVs in Aus.
Bruder applied to the High Court for special leave to appeal the Supreme Court decision, but on Thursday Justices Stephen Gageler and Patrick Keane dismissed the application.
