Early Wednesday morning, the priest wakes up in his rectory by the church and sees his church going up in flames. He tries to race in and save the Blessed Sacrament in the tabernacle. It is impossible, the tabernacle is already in flames and beams are falling. Kenney tells us the priest and his group at the church are numb, disoriented. They’re in shock and disbelief.
