My client in the mining industry is looking for an Auto Electrician to join their team in Koffiefontein, Free State, for a 12 month contract.
Reporting to the Engineering Foreman, the role will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault finding and repair of auto electrical equipment within the Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMM) discipline according to sound engineering practice and equipment specifications.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provide subject matter expertise and skills in area of responsibility; advising on solutions to enhance or ensure the effectiveness of the department/section.
Perform inspections in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act Regulations and Manufacturing and Company Standards to report all defects and breakdowns on equipment and machinery to the Foreman.
TMM and/ or Plant experience is essential for this role.
5 Years Supervisory experience.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Computer literate (Microsoft Office, JDE, Oracle, Qlikview, Isometrix & Pipware).
Perform asset care activities as required to EAMS system including accurate and timeous feedback and documentation to all stakeholders.
Manage daily inspection checklists for tools, equipment and work areas. Report problems and make recommendations.
Comply with disciplinary and behavioural rules and procedures.
Obtain information, check for accuracy and capture data. File documents per procedure.
Comply with safety, health and environmental standards. Identify and report unsafe and hazardous situations in work area. Participate in safety meetings.
