Im just trying to go inside and grab as much as i can right now because i dont know when theyre going to let us go back in and grab the rest of our belongings. I wish they would let us know more, like a timetable when or how long we have to wait or what are the steps being taken, theyre not letting us know too much about whats going on. Some of the people who went back in took precautions. Wearing bags over their shoes to avoid contamination or surgical masks. We just want to protect ourselves for our health and everything. The homeowners say theyve asked the city of pleasanton, alameda county, and the army corps of engineers. Getting little or no response. Theyre literally scared their homes are not far away from plummeting into the creek. David raun has lived there for 20 years. He says his backyard used to be a slope and now its a cliff.
