in the bahamas. meteorologist janice dean is watching the system in the weather center. what do we see, janice? reporter: tropical depression, it was upgraded as of 11:00 a.m., we knew it was going to happen and this storm is predicted to become a tropical storm, not a hurricane, though. several days out we have a lot of variables to worry about. let s look at the tropical satellite, we have two systems we re watching, across the bay of tampeche, and then the other one, our newly christened depression, number three, across the southeastern bahamas. you can see it s starting to get better org need. there s the track as we head out further in time. we ve got a pretty good indication of what s going to happen within the next, say, couple of days, into tpr er, but into saturday, a lot of uncertainty, we have a low pressure system, an upper level low north of the system that is going to act to tear the system apart a little bit. as you can see it s going to remain a tropical storm in the
