Air Peace says Sharjah-Dubai flights not affected by new UAE COVID-19 Protocols On  By Lawani Mikairu Air Peace airline yesterday said its Lagos-Sharjah flights are not affected by the new COVID-19 flight protocols introduced by the Dubai Airport’s Operations Control Centre, United Arab Emirates, UAE. The new protocols indicate that from February 1, 2021, only Nigerians travelling directly from Nigeria would be allowed in Dubai and those transiting through other airports outside Nigeria would not be allowed into Dubai International Airport. Also, ” in addition to COVID-19 PCR test that would last 72 hours, passengers are expected to undergo rapid Coronavirus test at the airport four hours before the departure of their flights”.

news Nigeria’s yearly exports to South Africa exceed $3.8bn Envoy The Punch Joseph Olaoluwa The Consul General of Nigeria to South Africa, Abdulmalik Ahmed, has said that Nigeria’s yearly exports to South Africa now exceed $3.8bn. Speaking at a press conference which took place on Friday in Johannesburg, he explained that South Africa had remained Nigeria’s biggest partner over the years. He also added that South Africa similarly exported $4.9bn in 2018 to Nigeria. He said, “South Africa is Nigeria’s biggest trading partner in Africa. Though dominated by oil, Nigeria’s export to South Africa is in excess of $3.8bn annually.

We have the vision to connect African countries says COO of Air Peace 19 December 2020 9:45 AM Share This: Nigeria’s biggest carrier Air Peace commenced flights to South Africa in hopes of strengthing the economy between the countries. Private Nigerian airline Air Peace launched a new route between Lagos and Johannesburg on Thursday 17 December. The inaugural direct flight has been described as a way of further deepen the bilateral and economic relationships between the two countries. Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Air Peace Toyin Olajide joined the Weekend breakfast where she explained that the plan to operate between the two countries was meant to happen two years ago but was delayed due to not having proper resources and the need to improve the business plan around the vision.
