A pop-up flea market highlighting Philadelphia-based LGBTQ+ small business owners is headed to the recently-opened Mural City Gardens in Kensington from 1 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 23. Philly Queer Flea is free to attend, but organizers encourage visitors to donate to the New Kensington Community Development Corporation, which owns the space.
The Hyatt Center Hotel in Philadelphia is celebrating Pride Month by hosting an artist reception honoring muralist Tiff Urquhart on Thursday, June 2 from 6:30-8 p.m. It also is holding its first Pride-themed Maker's Market on Saturday, June 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Trans Art Mart will hold its first pop-up market in the lot outside of Love City Brewing at 1023 Hamilton St. on Saturday, April 2 from 12 to 7 p.m. Proof of vaccination is required.
South Street bar Tattooed Mom will host goth-inspired pop-up shop on Tuesday, March 15 called Goth Shop and Social. In addition to vendors the event will hold raffles for prizes. Money raised from raffle entries will benefit transgender youths.
