「森」「私たち」「津南」三方よし　高校生の森林再生案に町動く

　スギの代わりに広葉樹を植えて森林を再生し、地域活性化も図ろうという取り組み「森の三方よし」が新潟県津南町で動き出した。同町の中高一貫校、県立津南中等教育学校の高校生が考えた提案に町や森林組合が協力。紅葉の美しい景観づくりや、伐採したスギを活用した商品開発を目指す。【新井敦】 　提案したのは、いずれも6年生の藤野美咲さん（17）と小西愛咲さん（17）、鈴木慧美（えみ）さん（18）の3人。5年生の時、1年間かけてグループ別に地域の課題を考えた探究学習で、津南のスギの現状について調べた。町内に多い人工林のスギは災害に弱く、野生動物の餌になる実を付けないことなどを学び、町民の関心が低いことも分かった。 　そこで3人は、スギを伐採し、代わりに地元に自生する広葉樹を新たに植林するこ�
