TORONTO, June 9, 2021 /CNW/ - The governments of Canada and Ontario are investing more than $115.1 million to protect the health, and well- being of residents in 30 municipalities across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA).
Details were provided by the Honourable Catherine McKenna, Federal Minister of Communities and Infrastructure; and Stephen Crawford, Parliamentary Assistant to Ontario s Minister of Infrastructure and Member of Provincial Parliament for Oakville, on behalf of the Honourable Laurie Scott, Ontario s Minister of Infrastructure.

Mayors from across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area are calling on the Province for greater “predictability” when it comes to Ontario’s current stay-at-home orders.
The current stay-at-home orders are set to expire on May 20 and with numbers being what they are and health officials stating it is unlikely things will begin opening up by that date, lawmakers are seeking more answers from the Ontario government.
