Newest LOVEwork unveiled in Kilmarnock
The Town of Kilmarnock will unveil a life-sized LOVE artwork on Saturday March 20
th at 10am at Town Centre Park. The community is welcome to attend and is encouraged to bring your camera!
Created as part of a state and local partnership to promote travel and tourism, the artwork is an extension of the iconic “Virginia is for Lovers” brand, which in 2019 is celebrating 50 years since its inception.
The Kilmarnock LOVEwork is one of more than 200 giant LOVE letters, called LOVEworks, in towns and cities across the Commonwealth.

Governor Northam Announces Over $24 Million in Affordable and Special Needs Housing Loans

RICHMOND Governor Ralph Northam today announced more than $24 million in Affordable and Special Needs Housing loans for 28 projects across the Commonwealth, creating or preserving 1,635 affordable housing units for low-income Virginians. The funding will help increase access to affordable housing, reduce homelessness, and provide permanent supportive housing options for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
