There are some grinches out there.
Wonderland in Lights has been a smash again this year, drawing big carloads of visitors to Community Park in Effingham every night. On one recent night, cars were backed up out of Engbring Street and onto Temple Avenue, west to Willow Street.
It s a hit, and that s why it s disappointing to hear that someone is trying to mess things up.
Effingham Director of Tourism Jodi Thoele said there has been trouble recently with individuals unplugging the lights and, in Thoele s words, dimming the experience for others.
