The announcement was made during a press conference this morning.
In his opening statement, Opposition Leader Roy McTaggart said that the Shadow Ministers’ portfolios would not necessarily line up with those of the Cabinet of the Government.
This means that one Shadow Minister may cover two or more ministry grouping or the opposite where several Shadow Ministers may cover just one ministry grouping.
McTaggart, aside from being the Leader of the Opposition, will also shadow Finance, Economic Development, and Infrastructure, while Joey Hew is now the Deputy Leader of the Opposition and will shadow Commerce, the Environment, Transport, Planning and Lands.
