manich@leaderherald.com JOHNSTOWN A new initiative for the Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce geared toward working people in this area was outlined Wednesday for Fulton County officials. Chamber President Mark Kilmer reported on the “Be A Tourist In Your Own Town” initiative to the Board of Supervisors’ Economic Development & Environment Committee at the County Office Building. Chamber postpones restaurant week | News, Sports, Jobs

manich@leaderherald.com JOHNSTOWN The Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce is postponing Restaurant Week until later in the year. In a recent report to the Fulton County Board of Supervisors’ Economic Development and Environment Committee, chamber Director of Tourism Development Anne Boles said the popular event is being delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Boles said Restaurant Week featuring specials at area restaurants will be promoted in the late spring and summer. Due to COVID restrictions at this time, she said it was thought it is best to postpone Restaurant Week “until numbers are better and outside dining could be utilized.”
