How to catch Farfetch d in Pokémon Go
Ordinarily, Farfetch d is a regional exclusive in Japan and South Korea, where it will spawn in the wild.
It has, however, since its debut in 2016 appeared in various events so other players have had access in their own region.
One such opportunity is during the Tour Kanto event in February 2021, which tasks players with catching all 150 Pokémon within the span of eight days.
During this event Farfetch d - alongside fellow Kanto exclusives Mr Mime, Tauros and Kangaskhan - appeared in Raids on the main event day on Saturday, February 20th.
Farfetch d is currently appearing in raids in Japan and South Korea until Monday, 1st March at 8am (local time). This means if you re lucky enough to have a friend who lives in one of these regions and a Remote Raid pass, then they can invite you to a Farfetch d raid.
Ordinarily, Kangaskhan is a regional exclusive in Australasia, where it will spawn in the wild.

At the time of writing, this is the only way to get Kangaskhan before the Raid Collection Challenge deadline on February 28th, 2021 - so be sure to prioritise catching it on the day before the opportunity disappears.

The first two challenges - Incense and Trade - are dependent on which version of Pokémon Go Tour: Kanto you re playing.
For the Incense Collection Challenge, you ll need to catch the Pokémon which are exclusively attracted to Incense in your version of the event. Red version players, for example, will have to catch Growlithe, Oddish and Mankey, among others.
The Trade Collection Challenge, however, will involve trading Pokémon with a player using the opposite version to yours - Red to Green and vice versa - to collect the Pokémon which are not available in your version of Pokémon Go Tour: Kanto.
âPokemon GOâ Johto Celebration Event announced
Another event in the lead up to Tour Kanto
A new
Pokemon GO event has been announced for the lead-up to Tour Kanto, which will showcase the Johto region and its native Pokemon.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10am local time on January 26, continuing through to January 31 at 8pm local time. The Johto Celebration Event will include increased spawns, raids, new egg content, and exclusive field research goals.
Pokemon native to the Johto and Hoenn region will increase in number during the event, making them easier to catch for a brief time. These include Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Aipom, and Snubbull. A Shiny Miltank has also been added, possibly in celebration of 2021 being the Year of the Ox.
