Genesis Capital Partners – a private equity firm focused on growth investments in healthcare – plans to raise a maiden fund this year of up to $200 million after some early deal success.
The specialist investment firm was founded in 2018 by Chris Yoo and Michael Caristo, both formerly of Crescent Capital Partners and Bain & Co. In their new venture, the pair have invested alongside family offices on a deal-by-deal basis.
Genesis Capital Partners founders, Michael Caritso (L) and Chris Yoo, are solely focused on investing in healthcare companies.
They have deployed about $30 million across a portfolio of four investments, ranging from a clinical research management business to GP clinics to a home-based aged and disability care group.
