The Government of India has received Rs.3,54,787 crore (17.95% of corresponding BE 21-22 of Total Receipts) for May 2021 comprising Rs. 2,33,565 crore Tax Revenue (Net to Centre), Rs. 1,16,412 crore of Non Tax Revenue and Rs.4,810 crore of Non Debt Capital Receipts. Non Debt Capital Receipts consists of Recovery of Loans Rs 815 crore and Disinvestment Proceeds of Rs 3,995 crore. Rs.78,349 crore has been transferred to State Governments as Devolution of Share of Taxes by Government of India upto this period which is Rs. 13,728 crore lower than the previous year. Total Expenditure incurred by Government of India is Rs.4,77,961 crore (13.72% of corresponding BE 21-22), out of which Rs.4,15,000 crore is on Revenue Account and Rs.62,961 crore is on Capital Account. Out of the Total Revenue Expenditure, Rs.88,573 crore is on account of Interest Payments and Rs.62,664 crore is on account of Major Subsidies.

Government Receives 7 49% Of Corresponding BE 21-22 Total Receipts In April 2021

The Monthly Account of the Union Government of India upto the month of April 2021 has been consolidated and reports published. The Government of India has received Rs. 1,47,991 crore (7.49% of corresponding BE 21-22 of Total Receipts) for April 2021 comprising Rs. 1,30,811 crore Tax Revenue (Net to Centre), Rs. 16,808 crore of Non Tax Revenue and Rs. 372 crore of Non Debt Capital Receipts. Non Debt Capital Receipts consists of Recovery of Loans. A total of Rs. 39,175 crore has been transferred to State Governments as Devolution of Share of Taxes by Government of India upto this period which is Rs. 6,864 crore lower than the previous year. Total Expenditure incurred by Government of India is Rs. 2,26,690 crore (6.51% of corresponding BE 21-22), out of which Rs. 1,79,564 crore is on Revenue Account and Rs. 47,126 crore is on Capital Account. Out of the Total Revenue Expenditure, Rs. 29,671 crore is on account of Interest Payments and Rs. 37,369 crore is on account of Major Subsidies.

Government Receives 80% Of Corresponding RE 2020-21 Of Total Receipts Upto January 2021

The Government of India has received Rs 12,83,314 crore (80% of corresponding RE 2020-21 of Total Receipts) upto January, 2021 comprising of Rs 11,01,855 crore Tax Revenue (Net to Centre), Rs 1,41,104 crore of Non Tax Revenue and Rs 40,355 crore of Non Debt Capital Receipts. Non-Debt Capital Receipts consists of Recovery of Loans (Rs 15,804 crore) and Disinvestment proceeds (Rs 24,551 crore). A total of Rs 4,08,873 crore has been transferred to State Governments as Devolution of Share of Taxes by Government of India upto January, 2021. Total Expenditure incurred by Government of India is Rs 25,17,318 crore (73% of corresponding RE 2020-21), out of which Rs 21,55,210 crore is on Revenue Account and Rs 3,62,108 crore is on Capital Account. Out of the Total Revenue Expenditure, Rs 5,19,597 crore is on account of Interest Payments and Rs 2,52,656 crore is on account of Major Subsidies.
