On Tuesday, June 8, the festival kicks off with a keynote address from Tom Ascheim, the president of Warner Bros. Global Kids, Young Adults and Classics, who will provide an update on the latest developments at Cartoon Network and Boomerang and highlight the kids’ slate at HBO Max.
Total Dramarama features the characters from Total Drama
WarnerMedia, Canal+ in France and ABC in Australia are among several channels to pick up kids’ animated series Total Dramarama from UK distributor Cake.
Aimed at six- to 11-year-olds, Total Dramarama is a prequel to animated comedy Total Drama and ages down the original teen characters into troublesome toddlers.
Produced by Fresh TV, Total Dramarama’s third season is set to premiere on Cartoon Network in the US and Teletoon in Canada in mid-year.
Cartoon Network parent company WarnerMedia has picked up seasons two and three of the series for German-speaking territories, Benelux, Eastern Europe, APAC and Latin America, while Canal+ and ABC have signed up for season two.

Total Dramarama Notches Up Deals
Total Dramarama, the prequel to the
Total Drama franchise.
Deals have been closed for seasons two and three with WarnerMedia for German-speaking territories, Benelux, Eastern Europe, AsiaPac and Latin America, as well as in the U.K. with PopTV, in Italy with K2 and DeAkids and in Spain with Super 3. Canal+ in France and ABC Australia signed up for season two.
Season three is set to premiere on Cartoon Network in the U.S. and TELETOON in Canada mid-year 2021 and brings the total number of episodes up to 156.
