先ごろ『ピザハット』が10～50代男女1,000人に調査した結果、「（デザートピザ以外で）パインが乗っているピザを食べたことがある人」は34.7%、「ない人」が65.3%。さらに、食べたことがある人に絞って好き嫌いを聞くと、「好き」が55.9％、「嫌い」が26.8％という結果に。つまり、食べたことがある人は3割程度だが、食べたことがある人の半数以上は「好き」と回答しており、“食わず嫌い”で敬遠している人が多いという実情が浮かび上がった。
