Under the radical plans, the Union Jack will only be flown once a year to mark Remembrance Sunday.
Political commentator Emily Hewertson accused the SNP leader of playing “silly little games” and being “in denial” about Brexit.
In a post on Twitter, she wrote: “This woman is in denial.
“I guess she will never accept that her country voted to stay in the UK, nor that the UK voted to leave the EU.
