A yacht owner s flashing back-lit electric nameplate could have been the cause behind the huge inferno of a £6million luxurious vessel, Rendezvous, at Torquay Marina on Saturday.
The race is on to stop a devastating oil spill after the Princess Y85 superyacht, which was called the Rendezvous, went up in flames at 11.57am on Saturday in Torquay Marina, Devon.
Photographs taken on Sunday morning show the aftermath of the yacht blaze. They show that Princess Pier has been left charred and damaged by the blaze and remains cordoned off.
