you ve enacted public policy to prepare for this measures. what measures do you think would have helped prepare kentucky? the wind damage, it s very difficult to build homes that can with stand these very powerful tornados. you re seeing homes that were reduced to the slab. we know that in new construction, we can build safe rooms for tornados. and when i was at fema, this is something that president obama strongly supported. we shouldn t be rebuilding public buildings without tornado she she shelters in them, and fema will fund that. as we rebuild, we need to provide somewhere safe for people to go when there is a tornado warnings. tornados aren t just isolated in what used to be tornado alley. it s something that we should be doing as we re rebuilding or
