Missing Fulton woman arrested in Illinois Published FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ) A woman who police believed may have been the victim of a kidnapping in Fulton, Missouri, has been arrested in Illinois. According to a news release from the Fulton Police Department, Tori Taylor, 25, made contact with her family Tuesday night. It was the first known contact from Taylor since April 20. On April 26, Fulton police responded to a possible kidnapping involving three men pulling a woman into a car in the 500 block of 10th Street. The potential victim was described as 5 3 with a thin build and short brown hair. Police announced Wednesday morning that Taylor was taken into custody in Centralia, Illinois, at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday on two outstanding warrants for arrest in Missouri.

Suspected victim of kidnapping taken into custody in Illinois

FULTON - The Fulton Police Department says a suspected victim of kidnapping has been taken into custody in Illinois.  A release from the department says Tori Taylor was located in Centralia, Illinois on Tuesday and was taken into custody on two outstanding warrants from Missouri. Taylor made contact with her family on Tuesday around 8:55 p.m. The Fulton Police Department was then contacted by the family with the address, and she was found around 11:15 p.m.  Fulton Police say over 20 law enforcement agencies helped on the case. There were 234 leads and thousands of investigative hours that went into it. Prosecutors are now looking into possible chargers facing Taylor.

FULTON - The Fulton Police Department says they have reason to believe missing woman Tori Taylor is still alive, despite no promising leads. Fulton Police say they have received multiple tips regarding her disappearance, which has caused the belief that she is still alive. Fulton Chief Steve Myers did not go into detail about the leads.  According to a news release, 25-year-old Taylor was last seen on April 20 in Montgomery County. Officials said she borrowed a car from a friend in Fulton on April 21 and said she would return it the next day, but has not. She has not contacted family or friends and has not been active on social media.

Taylor reportedly borrowed a car from a friend who lives in Fulton on April 21st but never returned the car. UPDATE: Fulton community holds vigil for missing woman

KOMU 8 spoke with Taylor s father last week about her disappearance. He said he just wants his daughter to know she is loved and her family wants her back. Missouri Missing organized the vigil. One organizer with the group said it s important to get the information out so Taylor is found. “Everyone on our board has or has had someone missing, so we get it, organizer Marianne Asher-Chapman said. Asher-Chapman and Taylor s cousin-in-law, Geneva Wright, came up with the idea to hold a vigil last minute.  I myself having really been getting any sleep because I m literally on all the Facebook pages following up on everyone who thinks they ve seen her, Wright said.
