DePaul traveled to Butler and came away with a three game sweep. DePaul allowed Butler to cross the plate two times in the entire series.
DePaul won the first game 2-0. Each team managed only three hits in the game. Fortunately for DePaul, two of those hits from Brooke Johnson were RBI producers. Johnson singled in the fourth to score Kate Polucha and homered in the seventh.
Krista Dalgarn went the distance, allowing three hits, with one strike out and no walks. She is now 11-2.

DePaul completed the doubleheader sweep with a 5-1 win. DePaul saved the heroics for the end of the game though.

On Saturday, the Blue Demons started the weekend with a 3-0 loss to Louisville. DePaul s offense was missing in action, as the Blue Demons only tallied three hits and five base runners in the opening game of the Louisville Classic.
Louisville scored one in the third, fourth and sixth inning to account for their three runs. Louisville didn t do a lot on offense, only getting eight hits, but they did enough to take the win.
DePaul s Natalie Halvorson s record dropped to 1-3. Halvorson struck out one and walked two in six innings.
