TORFAEN Museum and Archive is lucky to be in the possession of the sketchbook by William Henry Greene, the nineteenth century reporter and journalist who wrote numerous articles for publications across Wales and the west of England. Born in 1832, Mr Greene began his career as a journalist in his early 20s. From 1867 to 1874, beginning at the age of 35, Mr Greene also wrote for this very paper. At times, Mr Greene would also write for outlets as far away as Bristol, Gloucester and Exeter.
