In an option agreement with Haugaland Business Park, Green Mountain secures 50.000 m2 of land in one of the most modern and sustainable industrial areas in Norway. The agreement enables Green Mountain to realize their construction plans for yet another data center site. The location is ideal in terms of power, connectivity, and infrastructure.
Haugaland Business Park, located in Gismarvik in Tysvær municipality, is one of Norway s largest fully regulated commercial areas of 5,000 acres, prepared with green renewable energy.
Green Mountain has great growth ambitions and Gismarvik is one of the areas they have considered for a long time. It is powered by renewable hydropower and when the new planned power cable is ready in 4-5 years, up to 500 MW of power will be available.
