Vice President Kamala Harris made a quick stop at a bookstore in Providence on Wednesday en route to events with Commerce Secretary and former Rhode Island governor Gina Raimondo, where she picked up four books and showed them off to a pool reporters covering her event.

Kamala Harris and first gentleman Doug Emhoff kissed through their masks Wednesday – even though they are vaccinated – as the vice president traveled to Rhode Island where she stopped by a local store to buy four books.
Before going their separate ways as Harris prepared to board Air Force Two for a day trip to Providence, the vice president and her husband shared a peck in the lips-area without removing their masks.
Both Harris and Emhoff are vaccinated against coronavirus and new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance says those vaccinated do not need to wear face coverings while outside with each other.
