The silver-lining success of Green Hill Golf Course in Worcester during the COVID-19 pandemic has been a consistent highlight of the city s financial reports over the past year. Augustus Jr. noted in a brief to the City Council that the course s revenues are up around $590,000 over this time last year, and Director of Golf Matthew Moison said the course probably won t end up needing the budgeted $200,000 subsidy the city earmarks for the course, which generally operates as a revolving fund - its revenues are intended to cover its expenses without using funds from the city s tax levy.
