crisis. i think there is a lot of hopelessness in this country when it comes to gun violence and my top line message is always that there is hope that we do know how to solve this problem if we re willing to take the steps needed at the political level and at the social level. depending on the kind of gun violence we re talking about. if we re talking about children and accidents, store your guns safely. if we re talking about suicide, be on the lookout for those that you know are in crisis. when you talk about domestic violence we need to look carefully at the ways we can reduce gun violence and domestic violence so there is hope. there are solutions. educate yourself. don t be afraid to speak out. and you have to let your elected representatives know that this is a leading, important issue for you for the safety of your children and communities. it has to get to the personal level where people are willing to speak out on this and demand change and change will follow as it always does
the economy in a positive way. you can do it, you know, talk about the environment, creating jobs. don t talk about the environment we re all going to die in 12 years. talk about the environment can create good paying jobs. that i think there is a message there. we know people feel good about the economy but the economy isn t actually working that much better for many people but the president does a good job selling it. the democrats need to take a page from the president in terms of selling the economic message they have. i do think so and they should talk about how his policies have impacted certain communities who voted for him. like his trade policies for example. there are a lot of aspects of the economy that are not working for everyone. essentially the line from democrats, the top line message is, this economy is not working for everyone. it s only working for those at the top. that was ironically hillary clinton s top line message as well. i think in this moment when the ec
and when we hear people offered up half baked ideas as if they are solutions, or trying to downplay the challenges involved in the situation, what i d like to see people ask is specifically, precisely what exactly would you do and how would you fund it and how would you sustain it? and typically what you get is a bunch of mumbo jumbo. so these are hard challenges. they are ones that we are going to continue to pursue. the top line message that i want everybody to understand is we are going to continue to go after isil. we are going to continue to reach out to a moderate opposition. we reject russia s theory that
