Donald W. Major, 69, of Bellaire, Ohio died May 8, 2021 in Wheeling Hospital.
He was born January 6, 1952 in Bellaire, a son of the late Alfred Willis Major and Edna LuGail Wallace Major.
Don was a 1970 graduate of the Bellaire High School. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and later graduated from the OVGH School of Nursing. He was a retired Registered Nurse from the former Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling with 41 dedicated years of service. Serving with the Belmont County Veteran’s Association honoring veterans, gardening and collecting Air Force memorabilia were things he enjoyed. Don will always be remembered as a caring person and compassionate nurse.
Richard A. “D.D.” Dingey, 82, of Barton, Ohio died April 26, 2021 in Wheeling Hospital.
He was born February 15, 1939 in Midway, Ohio, a son of the late Darl Elijah Dingey and Mary Drosky Dingey.
Rich was a retired state mine inspector and former employee of Consolidation Coal Co. He was a member of the Martins Ferry Elks, the Fairpoint Polish Club and the PNA Lodge #455 in Maynard. D.D. was an avid bowler, golfer, baseball, and softball player. His recent interests have included farming, logging, and taking care of stray animals.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ron Dingey; sister, Lucille Skrtich; and his other parents, Blanche and Stanley Stando.

Margaret Evelyn Miller, 96, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died March 10, 2021 at her home.
She was born January 20, 1925 in St. Clairsville, a daughter of the late Joseph Merle Doty and Margaret Ann Kocsis Doty.
Margaret graduated from St. Clairsville High School and the Ruth Brant School of Nursing. She was a retired registered Nurse from Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling where she worked in the Operating Room. She was a memberof First Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville where she served as Deacon and Elder. She was a member of the Bridgeport Chapter #181, Order of Eastern Star; a member of Wheeling Women’s Club and the Thursday Music Club in Wheeling.
