Martha Bissah offered scholarship to pursue MA in Urban Education

The Norfolk State University School of Graduate Studies and Research has offered Ghana’s golden girl Martha Bissah scholarship to pursue a Masters Degree in Urban Education – Urban School Counselling, in Virginia USA.
An admission letter signed by the Dean of the university, George E. Miller, and copied to the Graduate Programme Coordinator, congratulated the athlete for gaining admission to pursue the MA Urban School Counselling Pre-K-12 graduate degree programme for the Fall 2021.
“The time limit for completing your degree is four years. Please work closely with your programme coordinator in familiarising yourself with all regulations governing graduate study of the university as well as the specific requirements for successful completion of your degree,” the letter added.
Margaret Evelyn Miller, 96, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died March 10, 2021 at her home.
She was born January 20, 1925 in St. Clairsville, a daughter of the late Joseph Merle Doty and Margaret Ann Kocsis Doty.
Margaret graduated from St. Clairsville High School and the Ruth Brant School of Nursing. She was a retired registered Nurse from Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling where she worked in the Operating Room. She was a memberof First Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville where she served as Deacon and Elder. She was a member of the Bridgeport Chapter #181, Order of Eastern Star; a member of Wheeling Women’s Club and the Thursday Music Club in Wheeling.
