Earlier this year, Luis Garcia, an employee of the Greater Sudbury Housing Corporation, alerted bylaw staff to a pet snake (belonging to a tenant of the housing corporation) that had grown too large to easily be accommodated indoors.
“On March 25, at approximately 12:35 p.m., officers attended the location and were provided access to the unit by the tenant,” a staff report noted. “It was confirmed by the tenant that the snake was a female python and was approximately six to eight feet in length.
