NYC crime rewind: How S.I. helped catch ‘Son of Sam’ in summer of 1977

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – It was the sweltering summer of 1977 and New York City was under siege. A lone gunman dubbed “Son of Sam” had been terrorizing the five boroughs for more than a year.
While some of the Avengers are set to get their own standalone and sequels in Phase 4, ‘Falcon and Winter Soldier’ are getting a six-episode miniseries that will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on March 19, 2021. The show is filled with intriguing characters who have appeared in the Marvel comics and movies in the past. So let’s take a look at the cast members of the upcoming Disney+ series.

Anthony Mackie
Born on September 23, 1978, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Mackie has become a global star after being cast as Falcon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, he has been a part of the industry since 2002 and has given some brilliant performances. He made his film debut with ‘8 Mile , a movie based on the life of rapper Eminem. Mackie played the role of Papa Doc in the film and was praised for his acting.
