Employees at a leading chemical company have been litter picking as part of this year’s Earth Day. Around 30 members of staff at Ingevity, which is based at Baronet Road in Warrington, volunteered to protect the planet and collected more than 20 bags of rubbish and debris from the Trans Pennine Trail. Ingevity provides products and technologies that purify, protect and enhance the world, developing and manufacturing solutions that help customers solve complex problems and make the world more sustainable. The company’s sustainability focus includes engaging employees through philanthropic efforts in the local community and in the past, trees have been planted along the Culcheth nature reserve.
