Sheriff Tommy Ford said the latest investigation was one of the biggest meth busts he has seen in Bay County. Ford noted that in the past few months, the sheriff s office has had other relatively large busts with 5 or 6 pounds of meth seized on average.
According to the sheriff s office, on April 2, the Special Investigations Division served two search warrants at the Holiday Inn Express in Panama City Beach. In one hotel room, investigators found about 10.5 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, 12 pounds of marijuana, more than $7,000 in cash, and a stolen firearm.
In the second room, investigators found Estrada-Delao, who had rented both of the rooms in his name, according to the sheriff s office. BCSO investigators discovered that Estrada-Delao is an illegal immigrant from Mexico and has been in the U.S. for about three months.

The development program will offer qualified single-family developers 0% interest loans that match private construction financing from a qualified bank for the development of infill single-family housing. Homes must be sold to buyers earning at or below 120% of the area median income (AMI) and buyers must be either first-time buyers or previous homeowners who lost their home due to hurricane damage.
The annual income range households need to qualify include $58,320 for one person, $66,720 for two people, $75,00 for three people, $83,280 for four people and $90,000 for five people.
