All care homes for the elderly in Lincolnshire have now received the first dose of the Covid vaccine, according to health bosses.
Lincolnshire s assistant director of public health Tony McGinty said the news was incredibly heartening .
He said tens of thousands of jabs had been given to staff and residents in more than 200 care homes in a matter of weeks.
All that remained was a bit of mopping up , he said.

Residential care homes across South Holland are working tirelessly to keep COVID-19 at bay as public health bosses support 10 in the area hit by the virus.
And they have received a huge boost this week with the news that staff and residents at all 34 homes in the district could be inoculated by Sunday evening.
Suria Webb, manager at Fenchurch House Care Home in Spalding, says that itâs important that procedures are followed.

A Skegness man who escaped police custody and was on Lincolnshire Police’s ‘most wanted’ list has now been jailed.
Paul Harry Johns, 31, of Chestnut Grove in Skegness, was later arrested and charged with a string of offences, including driving whilst disqualified, using a vehicle without insurance, escaping lawful custody, obstructing an officer and failing to answer bail.
He failed to appear in court in December last year, but after hearing at Lincoln Magistrates Court on Friday, January 8 he was jailed for 24 weeks.
